Terms of Service

1. The service

GridMaker provides free browser-based tools: a grid maker for reference photos, a grid drawing calculator, and printable grid paper generation. The tools are provided free of charge, “as is”, without warranties of any kind.

2. Your content

You retain full ownership of any images you process with GridMaker. Since processing happens locally in your browser, we never access, store or claim rights over your content. You are responsible for having the rights to the images you upload.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service for unlawful purposes or in any way that could damage, disrupt or overload it. This includes, without limitation: attempting to breach or circumvent access controls, scraping or automated mass access that degrades the service for others, reselling or redistributing the service or its outputs as your own commercial product, and sharing a Pro license beyond the personal use described in Section 5.

4. Breach, suspension and termination

If you breach these terms, we may take action at our discretion, proportionate to the severity and frequency of the violation. Depending on the case, this may include:

  • issuing a warning and requesting that you stop the violating behaviour;
  • suspending or terminating your access to the service, in whole or in part, including blocking abusive traffic sources;
  • deactivating your Pro license and activation code, without refund, except where a refund is required by applicable law or covered by our refund policy;
  • reporting unlawful activity to the competent authorities where we believe the law requires it.

You may stop using the service at any time, for any reason. We may also modify or discontinue the service as described in Section 6. Sections 2 (ownership of your content), 7 (disclaimers) and 8 (limitation of liability) survive any termination.

5. Pro license

Where offered, Pro licenses are one-time purchases for personal use by the purchaser. Licenses are non-transferable and may be deactivated if misused, as described in Section 4. Every purchase is covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee.

6. Changes

We may update these terms or discontinue features at any time; material changes will be noted on this page.

7. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for your Pro license in the twelve months preceding the claim, or zero if no purchase was made.
